Cascade. To fix a leaky radiator, put a pinch of Cascade dish washer
detergent in the radiator, fill with water, and drive away. The grains of
dishwasher detergent get sucked into any small holes, blocking them.
McCormick Black Pepper. To stop a small leak in a radiator, add one
teaspoon McCormick Black Pepper to your radiator. The pepper sinks to the
bottom, finds its way into small holes, and expands, filling them.
Wrigley’s Spearmint Gum and Band-Aid Bandages. To temporarily repair
a small hole or crack in a radiator hose, chew a stick of Wrigley’s
Spearmint Gum until all the sugar is gone and then use the gum to patch the
small hole. Secure the piece of gum in place by wrapping a Band-Aid Bandage
around gum and hose.
