too far and having them tumble onto the floor, paint lines on the top edges
of the drawer with Cover Girl Continuous Color Classic Red nail polish to
remind you how far the drawer can be pulled out safely.
Ivory Soap. Rub Ivory Soap on the casters of drawers and windows so
they slide open and shut easily.
Pam
Cooking Spray. To prevent dresser drawers from squeaking or getting
stuck, spray the metal tracks generously with Pam Cooking Spray.
Pledge. To lubricate the runners in drawers, spray them with Pledge
furniture polish and wipe off the excess. The wax reduces the friction,
enabling the drawers to slide freely.
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. To make drawers slide open and shut easily,
coat the runners with a few dabs of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
WTD-40. To lubricate the runners of drawers, spray them with WD-40
and wipe off the excess. Now they’ll slide open easily without any squeaks. |
