1. Measure the room and create a sketch of the hanging
plan. Center a plumb line on a focal point, such as a fireplace
or window, and sketch out a plan in both directions from the
center line. |

2. If the room doesn’t have an obvious focal point, start
at the corner farthest from the entry, measure a distance equal
to the width of the wall covering and mark a point. Work in both
directions, marking the points where seams will fall. |
