Arm & Hammer Baking Soda.
To weather replaced portions of a deck, mix one cup Arm & Hammer
Baking Soda and one gallon water, apply to the wood, let dry, and
rinse clean. Then apply a water sealant to the wood.
Clorox Bleach. To
restore a weathered wooden deck to its original condition (without
having to paint it), put on protective eyewear, rubber gloves,
boots, and rain gear, and spray full-strength Clorox Bleach directly
on the wood surfaces using a garden pressure sprayer. The bleach
makes the wood look brand new again.
Heinz White Vinegar.
To clean mildew stains from a wooden deck, spray the deck with
undiluted Heinz White Vinegar, let sit for one hour, and then rinse
