repair it if it ever gets damaged. For surface scratches and
scars, rub a small amount of stain that matches the color of the
wall into the damaged fibers. Then once the stain is dry, cover
the repair with a few coats of paste wax. For deeper damage, use

and use it according to the directions on the product container.
