Alberto VO5 Conditioning
Hairdressing. To lubricate a bicycle chain, use a dab of
Alberto VO5 Conditioning Hair dressing.
Dawn Dishwashing Liquid.
To find a puncture in a bicycle tire, mix a few drops of Dawn
Dishwashing Liquid with water and brush on a leaky tire. The bubbles
will indicate the exact location of the puncture.
Krazy Glue. To fix
a small puncture in a bicycle tire, remove the inner tube from the
tire and locate the hole. Insert the tip of the Krazy Glue
applicator into the opening, squeeze out a little glue, remove the
applicator, and pinch the rubber together for two minutes. Put the
tire back together and inflate.
Pam Cooking Spray.
To lubricate a bicycle chain, spray it with Pam Cooking Spray.
To clean a bicycle, spray Scrubbing Bubbles on wheels, spokes, and
drive trains. Wait five minutes for the scrubbing bubbles to work
their magic, rinse clean, and dry.
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly.
To lubricate a bicycle chain, use your finger to run a few dabs of
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly along the chain.
WD-40. To prevent
mud build-up on a bicycle, spray the bicycle with a thin coat of
WD-40 and wipe off the excess.
WD-40. To grease a
bicycle chain, spray with WD-40.
Wesson Corn Oil.
Use a few drops of Wesson Corn Oil to lubricate the chain on a
Wilson Tennis Balls.
To prevent a bicycle kickstand from sinking into the ground,
carefully cut a small X in the side of a Wilson Tennis Ball and
insert the end of the kickstand into the tennis ball. The ball will
stop the end of the kickstand from sinking into grass, sand, or mud.
